The “Delivery Calculator” page of the website is designed to calculate the cost of shipping a car from auction to the port of the destination country.

In order to calculate the cost of delivery of a car from the auction to the destination country you can use 2 ways:

- Automatic data filling (Figure 1);

- Manual data entry (Figure 2).

 

Automatic data filling

 

For automatic filling, enter the auction where the vehicle was purchased and the lot number (Figure 1, Pointer 1/Pointer 2). After filling in these data, click on the “Scan” button (Pointer 3).

Once the search has been performed, the data will automatically be entered into the table below (Figure 2).

 

Manual data entry

 

To fill in the data manually, enter the information in the appropriate fields (Figure 2):

“Select price list” - select a price list from the drop-down list that opens when you click on the button.; 

-   “Auction” – select auction;

-   “Auction Fee” - set the auction fee low or high;

-   “Location” - set the location where the auction will take place;

-   “Country / Destination port:” - select the port to which the vehicle will be delivered for further transportation;

-   “Country Destination Location” - from the drop-down list available by clicking on the button, select the country and city of the final delivery destination;

-   “Fuel Type” - set the vehicle's fuel type gasoline, diesel or electric;       

-   “Fuel Type (cm³):” – engine displacement;

-   “Year” – set the year of manufacture of the vehicle;

-   “Vehicle Cost” – enter the winning bid.

       Press the “Continue” button (Pointer 1) to calculate the cost.

As a result, the table with the shipping cost calculation will be displayed, where the calculation data will be specified (Figure 3):

  • “Final Bid” – is the amount that is listed as the winning bid for the lot (Pointer 1); 

  • “Auction Fee” – calculated on the basis of the auction commission set, low or high (Pointer 2);

  •  “Delivery to yard” – the delivery cost to the warehouse is based on the price list available in the auction section (Copart/ IAAI), which shows the individual delivery cost for each location and each type of vehicle (Pointer 3);

  • “Delivery to port” - the cost of delivery by sea is determined on the basis of the price list available in the Freight section, where for each warehouse the individual cost of delivery for all types of vehicles is indicated (Pointer 4);

  • “Delivery by land” - Overland delivery cost is determined on the basis of the price list available in the Cargo section, where individual delivery cost is indicated for all types of vehicles depending on the country of delivery and the country of final destination. (Pointer 5);

  • “Total” – total amount for this section of the table (Pointer 6).

The table below calculates import duties (Figure 4), which are mandatory import duties that must be paid when goods or services are imported from other countries into the country of importation. These payments include import duty, excise duty and VAT. The rates and terms of import payments are in accordance with the current legislation.

The following table also shows the cost of related services defined according to the price list available in the Services section (Figure 5). For example, this is the cost of a broker (Pointer 1) and the cost of additional services (Pointer 2). If you need to add a service, click on the “Add” button (Pointer 3) After that a window will open where you can enter the name of the service and click on the “Add” button, to cancel the button - “Cancel” (Figure 6). As a result of the actions performed, a new service will be added, which will be displayed in the table (Pointer 4). Using keyboard input, enter the cost of the additional service (Pointer 5). 

After adding all the required services, an automatic recalculation of the total amount in the table will take place, as well as the total amount of the vehicle delivery cost.

         To save this calculation, click on the “Save” button. After that a window will open, in which you should fill in the fields:

  • “VIN” - enter the VIN number of the vehicle;

  • “Client” - enter the client's first and last name.

To save the data click on the “Add” button, if canceled click on the “Cancel” button (Figure 7).

As a result of the actions performed, the delivery calculation will be displayed in the “Tools” section of the site menu on the “Delivery Calculator History” page.
